After buying our first home we trusted Ben and Brett with a full kitchen renovation. Doing a renovation on our first home was a really intimidating project, but right from the start Ben helped us build confidence in the plan and communicated what decisions we needed to make to stay on track. We really got lucky in working with the Cowboy Construction team - and if you are reading this review, we cannot recommend them enough. We needed to live in the home during the renovation, and the cramped quarters were going to put our routine right next to the chaos of a demo project. They prepped the working site very well on the first day, and every day before they left the site they made sure to clean and consolidate. Their consideration and professionalism really made a difference in our space. After we got into the demo, the old house proved to have some surprises for us. Ben and Brett were able to handle each curveball, and clearly communicated with us each time a decision needed to be made. We made sure walls and floors were level, and prepped the space for an entirely new build. Ben and Brett worked quickly and efficiently, staying on schedule the entire time and giving updates as we learned more about what the project would require. Our design direction was fairly involved and had multiple custom components. We worked with Ben on custom floating shelves and a unique cabinet configuration, as well as minor layout changes to the room layout. Ben was communicative at each design point, but also was up to each challenge. It was really fun to see the kitchen come together a day at a time. Each day the team cleaned up wonderfully, and kept on schedule. The last thing we wanted to make sure and touch on in the review was some of the less-required things in the project. Ben went above and beyond multiple times, including helping manage a mis-scheduled appliance delivery and helping manage and store cabinets and appliances in our cramped space. His actions really showed that he wanted the project to go well. In a big and stressful project, we always felt confident and trusted Ben. The kitchen ended up turning out beautifully. Our home feels entirely different, more open, brighter, more modern and well constructed. We came in right at our predicted budget, on schedule and with everything completed that we were looking to do. We would definitely recommend Cowboy Construction, and hope to use them again for future projects.
